The C4 is a strong performing car, deserving its five-star rating for occupant protection. The stable passenger cell protected all occupants well.
The restraint systems include dual stage airbags, belt pre-tensioners and load limiters, seat mounted side airbags and a head protecting curtain airbag. An intelligent seat belt reminder operates for the driver and rear passengers.
Child protection was good and that for pedestrians was also very effective.

Frontal Impact The body suffered minimal deformation and the driver’s door could be opened and closed normally afterwards.
The dual-stage airbags and belt pre-tensioners in combination with load limiters and the stable structure worked well, keeping loads on the driver’s chest and legs low. Much work has been carried out in the drivers knee impact area to reduce injuries but contact with a metal plate at the steering column still posed a risk.
The footwell suffered little intrusion and control of the pedals in the crash was good.

Side Impact A very impressive protection system includes seat-mounted thorax airbags and a head curtain airbag, which also protects those seated in the rear.

Child Protection The recommended restraints used a forward-facing Britax Romer Duo Plus for the three-year-old and a rear-facing Britax Romer BabySafe Plus for the 18-monthold. The Duo Plus was installed using ISOFIX anchorages, while the Baby Safe used the adult belts.
Both children were well protected in the frontal and side impact.
There is a manual on/off switch fitted to the passenger frontal airbag. This was indicated by a non-permanent pictogram and text label on the end of the passenger’s fascia. Permanent labels to both sides of the passenger’s sun visor warned of the dangers of placing a child in a rear-facing restraint opposite an active airbag.

Pedestrian Protection The bumper offered full compliance, while the leading edge of the bonnet offered good protection, as did the areas where a child’s head might strike. The adult head impact area offered limited protection. Overall a very good effort and, with the Seat Altea, the best to date.

Model History & Safety Equipment of Car Tested The C4 tested comes with dual frontal airbags, side airbags, head-protecting airbag (curtain), front belts with pre-tensioners, load limiters for all belts, belt reminder for driver and rear seat occupants, ABS. ESP and BA, speed limitation and brake re-partition as standard.

super bun scorul obtinut de c4..imi place ca acum pe siteul euroncap baga atasat pdf cu specificatiile estului, delatii masina si comentarii...
noul leon e cam problematic...noul civic de asemenea..imi place c30...

daca as avea bani garla c30 era optiunea mea. totusi in acei bani se gasesc alte masini excelente...tre sa mai treaca niste ani la volvo sa se vada si fiabilitatea
revenind la c4. am vazut cateva ciondanite rau de tot, si pe youtube, e un vts (cred) borsit....ma duceam la craiova in toamna (pitesti-slatina-craiova) si e un dealer citroen exact pe drumul respectiv care avea in parcare un coupe facut zob. nu mai stiu ce culoare ca nici nu voiam sa vad. mi-era mila.
stiu ca avem niste exemple povestite cu c4. oricum, din cate stiu partea de pana in axul fata e zona de distrugere intensivsa, sa elimine din energia impactului. ati vazut cat de in spate e montat radiatorul.

Am auzit de cineva care a avut un accident urat cu un C4 coupe. Lovitura frontala....a facut mashina praf shi pulbere. Cei de la asigurari au declarat-o irecuperabila. Ideea e ....ca deshi shi-a distrus mashina dupa cateva saptamani dupa ce a cumparat-o, el a scapat cu nishte zgarieturi ushoare.
Parerea mea, la soferii si motoarele de azi sigurantza la bord e deosebit de importanta...fieru daca il indoi cumperi altul...cu viata ii mai complicat

corect pixel. unul din lucrurile care m-a incantat enorm la c4 il reprezinta cele 6 airbaguri. cum ai zis si tu, fierul se indreapta, se schimba, dar viata.......siguranta e de baza.

si pt a mine a fost un plus cand am auzit de airbaguri full...adica 5 stele reale inc az de impact (sper ca niciodata sa aflu)

totusi cu toti nebunii care circula, si nu numai nebuni ci si inapti care se cred soferi e cam pericol pe drumurile patriei. asa ca safety first.
p.s. un amic a lovit 4 masini care stateau la semafor, a intrat in prima care a lovit-o pe a doua s.a.m.d. 5 masini cu a lui. din 5 2 date in dauna totala. si apropos, masina in care a intrat prima era un c3.
